Man, I was born in '89, but my head feels like it's stuck in the 80's. Even though I was hardly alive, I feel like an 80's girl. Music, movies, TV, everything. I :heart: it.

I was born in 1976 so I remember the eighties very well. Though the eighties were a fun time, I had no idea at that time that the decade would one day be regarded as a special period. For me it was about going to school, hanging out with friends and waiting for the weekends, which is probably what it is all about now with kids in 2004. Most of my favorite movies of the eighties are rated "R" so I was too young to see them at the time. I wasn't allowed to see most "R" rated films until I was 17. The music was certianly far better then it was during the 1990's and today. I never watched Miami Vice. My parents only allowed me to watch a limited amout of television. I watched Star Trek-The Next Generation (1987-1994), Family Ties (1982-1989) and Charles in Charge (1984-1985, 1986-1990).

I remember the music and tv shows back then, and also the clothing; everything. I still love the music and tv shows especially.

Do I remember Top Gun? Absolutly! If I'm watching the movie then I replay the volleyball scene over and over again. ;)

I missed ALL of the 80s ALL of them by one year damnit. I'm so fascinated by them though, I like the loud outfits and makeup and I LOVED the movies. I'm hooked on the Brat Pack. :lol:

the dumbest fad for me was breakdancing im sorry but while in 04 the breakdincing seemes stylish and the dancers seem to have good moves 80s breakdancing was just rolling around on the ground while a boom box blasted away a friend of mine whos 21 and missed the fad the first time around asked me why i seemed to hate breakdincing i told her. that if you had to watch it and hear about it morning noon and night it would get old fast for you too. she was actiully the one who told me that it was making a comeback so i watched some of the current breakdancing on tv its alot more sliick and stylish this time around. well i will stop ranting now thanks for reading the post.

The 80's rule :rock: I was born in 1974, so I remember the 80's very well. I still love 80's music, and will watch any and all specials on tv about the 80's :D

But 80s shows RULE

I was born in 1990, and basically, I hate everything 80s except for the TV. Most of the movies (especially the teen ones) are...well annoying. The music is absolutely the worst I have ever heard (I prefer 90s music over 80s music, and I really dispise 90s music). The TV is the only thing I enjoy from the 80s, and even then, it's mostly daytime soaps, night time soaps, and a few dramas here and there. There are maybe like 10 80s sitcoms I've seen and really enjoyed.

I'm basically a 70s person inside and out. But that's OT...
