There was a GQ Magazine survey about what men would do first. Watch sports or spend a romantic evening with his wife/girlfriend. One out of every five me chose to watch a Sporting Event rather than be with his wife/girlfriend romantically. So the question is do you think it's weird for a guy to choose sports over romance? If it's a NFL Game I have to admit I will choose the Game and spend time with my women later.-lol

The last thing on my husband's mind during a Sox or Patriot's game is romance. There's plenty of time for that later. ;)

I'm 15 but I don't care I'm answering anyway.

Strange as in...unusal? Not commonly occuring? **** no. I happen to think sports suck ass, though.

I know I may sound a little harsh, but if a guy were to choose sports over romance I would tell him goodbye. I think sports is the most boring thing on the face of the earth. I'd rather be out dancing.

Well, I'm 15 but I'm gonna answer this question also. When I'm older, I'm gonna start feeling very claustraphobic (sp?) if all my boyfriend or husband wants to do is be romantic or do things with me. I tend to be rather independent, and if I don't have "me" time, they'll be some issues. Now, if ALL my boyfriend/husband wanted to do was watch sports and not spend any time with me...then there'd be a problem. But I'm understanding, if he likes sports, I'm not gonna say "Turn off the game, take me somewhere romantic."

My friend had this girlfriend Taylor last year and all he did was flirt with her. He was practically incapable of anything else when he was around her. So she ended up dumping him. I guess she would have rather had him watching sports than flirt constantly like he did.

Hell, I'd probably watch sports with the guy. That was if there was one to speak of. In fact, lol, I know I would.

Nah. I'd almost rather he go watch the game and give me free time.
