Howdy...

It's me again... that crazy chic from San Antonio who loves the Spurs. So let's talk about Basketball. What teams do you think will do great this year which teams will bomb? What do you think about the Lakers without Shaq? :gossip

Well the west is gonna be a toss-up between Minnesota and San Antonio (Go Wolves! :))

The Lakers will be fighting for a 7th or 8th playoff spot without Shaq. Kobe isn't capable of running the Lake show on his own.

LeBron James has really turned into an ultra superstar. He's really something to watch.

I agree with ya about everything. I really like the T-wolves too but ya know I have to go for my Spurs. ;) We have such a great team it's like better than 2003.

In Minnesota, it's all about this guy-

Hopefully Sam Cassell and Latrell Sprewell can get their contracts taken care of..wouldn't want those to be a distraction for the team later on in the year. But otherwise, they got great team chemistry going..it's gonna be a good year for both of us I think :).

I think the Spurs & Pistons are gonna be in the finals this yr. Watch out for Orlando though if Grant Hill stays healthy the whole season. Grant Hill has been playin great so far. LOL@Charles Barkley last night saying Tim Duncan needs to brush his hair if he's gonna let his hair grow out hahahahahahahahahahaha. Charles & Kenny Smith said he should put some grease on his head LOL. Charles had me rollin talkin about how sorry the Knicks are last night. He said most of the players on the Knicks are just playing for their contracts cause they know they probably won't be back next season LOL. He also called their players overrated. Knicks & Houston game last night was boring.

It's looking like Vince Carter is going to get traded to the Blazers..which is a shame, becaues the Blazers are doomed to suck, and Vince is doomed to be injured his whole career.

What the heck happened to the Hornet? Last I checked they had not won a game yet. I guess the move to the West isn't working out so well.

isiahthomas
11-20-2004, 10:32 AM
The Hornets are terrible & Baron Davis is gonna be on the injured list for awhile. Their record is 0-7. Chicago also hasn't won a game yet. I think they're 0-7 also. Vince Carter is gettin traded to Portland? How do you know that?

MonarC

Looks like they're in town on the 23rd of this month. I know my brother in-law wanted to go, but I don't think we'll end up seeing that game. The next game in SA is March 16th..

Spurs lost to Seattle last night 102-96 in San Antonio. Ray Allen had 29 points for Seattle hittin 5-9 threes. Tim Duncan had 39 points. I can't believe Seattle is doing very well so far.

I didn't think it would be possible for KG to top his performance from last year. But he has this year, he's playing way out of this league.

LOL@the Bulls beating Minnesota last night 99-88 hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Latrell Sprewell scored 6 points in 30 somethin minutes but he feels like he's entitled to more than $14 million a year cause he can't feed his family making that much money hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Kobe Bryant got mad recently at Karl Malone cause he said Karl made a pass at Kobe's wife hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Kobe called him on the phone to talk about it & Karl said he was sorry if he said anything out of line to her. I wonder what Karl said LOL. It's ok for Kobe to f**k a white woman in Colorado but he gets mad when a man makes a pass at his wife LOL. Kobe is a funny guy.

Isaiah Thomas - What are those ugly uniforms the Cavs are wearing on TNT tonight? They look like women's swimsuits from the 1920's. Are they designed to take attention away from LeBron's silence of the lamb's mask?

That baby blue the Kings are wearing is not much better.

It must be throw-back night. The Magic and Rockets were wearing their old unis, as well.

I guess you are right - I didnt notice that even. Seems that teams (including Football) wear different uniforms alot nowadays. I guess I stopped noticing, but those striped Cavs things are bizzare.

I saw the Cavs & Kings game last night. The old uniforms the Cavs were wearing are ugly. Those uniforms used to be their 70's road uniforms.

I just saw that Lenny Wilkens resigned as the Knicks coach. I don't blame him cause those guys were gonna end up giving him a heart attack LOL. Spurs & Suns game was exciting yesterday. Spurs won in overtime 128-123 & Manu Ginobili had 48 points.

I was thinking about this comment watching the game vs. the Suns which was on NBA TV tonight. The Knicks gave up 133 points! It was the Suns, but still that is horrible.

The Cavs lost to the Wizards Monday in Cleveland 106-97. The Cavs suck & i despise their bench. General manager Jim Paxson needs to be fired cause he doesn't know what he's doing.

Now McHale is going to coach? That seems odd, but they needed a change. Don't they have an assistant who could take over?

Yeah, they definitely needed a change. It was obvious that Flip Saunders didn't even know what was going on, with all the different lineup variations they went through so far this year. I was pretty surprised to see McHail takeover, though. Maybe they're trying to get Phil Jackson's attention? Hmmm...(hopefully)

LOL@Minnesota losing to Utah Friday 100-82 hahahahahahahahahahahaha. I'm so tired of coaches gettin fired all the damn time like they're the ones that's out there playing. Minnesota needs to trade some players instead of firing Flip.

Karl Malone is retiring today & Reggie Miller is retiring at the end of the season. It's about damn time. Now we gotta get Kevin Willis old ass to retire LOL.

Yeah his old ass is still in the league LOL. He's the oldest player at 42. Atlanta barely plays him. I hate it when athletes get old & they continue to play like they're scared of retirement.

Iverson has 20 points already against the Bucks and the first quarter hasn't ended. He scored 40 and 54 in the past two games they have played the Bucks this year.

isiahthomas

The Bucks defense is terrible & Iverson is a ballhog.
