There was some northern lights by us last week, but I missed them! My roommate went out to see them and then I went out a few nights later and they weren't out! Well, I did see some when I was little, like 10 years ago, at a camp.

Yeah, I missed them too! I live just a few miles west of Flint, Michigan and the night sky is too bright from the city to see anything! My parents live in the country and can see them just fine! I have never seen the Northern lights but I would love too!
