I don't think so. Mr Furley did fine by himself. But during the last season, just to keep his character fresh, they should have given him a steady woman. What does anyone else think?

I agree.. it was fun watching RF hit on women and getting in trouble  But I think he should've had a steady girlfriend for the last season, just to make his character happy :D

When Furley first replaced The Ropers as the "Three's Company" landlord, Lana was also a new series regular. Furley's "swinger-wanna-be" bachelor status gave him the opportunity to constantly hit on Lana....but once she left the series, they never replaced her with another female regular for Furley to pursue. This lack of a new love interest made Furley seem like a lonely old man and gave his character sort of a sadness.

Yeah he was but it wouldn't hurt to get him a steady girlfriend, or a girlfriend, at least. It wouldn't affect the 8th season at all because the whole 8th season was screwed up from the beginning

I agree that the 8th season wasn't the best season of the series, but it did have some funny episodes. :)

Actress BarbaraStuart who played "Martha" in the episode: "Jack's Double Date" looked really cute together with Mr. Furley! They should of had her as a steady girlfriend for Furley and they could later get married in the last episodes!

Me too!!

I think he did really fine by himself throughout the series, but a steady girlfriend towards the end wouldn't have hurt at all.

Yes i think so which is why his gay jokes were not funny. How can he tease jack about being gay when he had no love life.
