The main problem with a tape trading site is when a bad trader enters the scene, bullying any and all who post negative feedback about them. Often there are problems unseen by the public eye. It may even seem as though the owner's/moderator's given into the bully because posts mysteriously disappear, are edited, or the topic gets dropped all of a sudden.

Recently a problem occured in a yahoo tape trading group, and the posts got way out of hand as the bad trader spewed venom before she could be stopped. The owner decided rather than risk the life of the group, he insisted that the subject be closed, and then established
http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/video-tape-trading-bad-trading-list/,
which is specifically designed for posting bad trader reports and the like.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/traders_report?yguid=128024241
is another yahoo group which would benefit traders as it's specifically designed for posting trader checks. Though membership is open to all, there are quite a few members there that are well seasoned moderators from various tape trading boards/groups.

Noneof us relish bad trader posts, but more so, we dread the next rampage brought on by rip-off artist without a conscience. If at all possible, please join these groups to keep aware of the more current bad traders skulking about.

That's a good idea. I always hated to deal with bad traders. But they always come back. Where would I post new info on a bad trader? They have come back on google and it's a well known bad trader to. In their post it had the same email but in the message it had a new email I would like to let traders know about.

Jason,

No, you don't have to add it to the growing bad trader listing. I will move it after a few days, though, in order to keep them all together.
