When Vince's mother injures her leg and is unable to make her traditional Italian Thanksgiving, Will comes to the rescue by offering to make his own special dinner, but Vince's mother refuses to give Will any credit. Meanwhile, Jack gives Vince's sister Ro a few pointers on a big secret she is keeping from her family and fiance. Meanwhile, Grace and Karen get very cozy with Vince's much younger brother.

Notes: The episode was originally known as "Everybody Loves Vince."

Wow, an episode from this season that was actually funny. How rare.

Glad to see that the characters were, for once, their old selves. No brain damaged Jack, prissy Will, sensitive Karen or flat-out bitch Grace here. Yay.

Although, did anyone notice a continuity error? Grace says Will came out to her, then snuck out of the house immediately after while she cried on the bed. But in the episode, she forced him out while they were in the kitchen. Is it just a case of unreliable narrator (I mean, it is Grace) or did the writers somehow remember every other event of that episode perfectly yet forget that part?

I loved that episode! That was the one Megan Mullally was talking about on ELLEN about 3 weeks ago. They had just shot that episode, that afternoon. Megan said that when Will came in with the turkey, they were suposed to adlib that part and put their napkins in their lap, say, "The turkey looks good," Megan said they did that scene so many times, that she started saying in every take, "Boy, this scene is really long." It was left in the show... you can sort of hear it. I had to rewind it a few times.

Really? I was looking for that, and couldn't hear it. I assumed they found it in editing and cut it.
