I wouldn't mind all of them, but I would go with the Drummonds. The simple reason Mr. Drummond would seem to be the most warm and welcome. George Jefferson would be too arrogant, and Phillip Banks would come across too snobby.

The Drummonds-They were really down to earth, Nice people.

I didn't know Roseanne's family was rich. THe last season I heard they won money but most of the time they were of average means. Out of the few choices seen here I would take Falcon Crest, Dynasty or Dallas.

Sitcom-wise, it would have to be either the Bluths (Arrested Development), Drummonds (Diff'rent Strokes), or Tates (Soap). If dramas are included, it would definitely be the Carringtons (Dynasty).

OK! I would pick the Tates from Soap because I really liked their home and The Drummonds from Diff'rent Strokes come a close second! Would it be Ok if I could also mention, The Silver Spoon family! :wave:

Yeah, that's ok. What ticks me off is that they are adding families that wasn't rich.

You did not have to blow up like that. It was uncalled for. This is NOT a life and death situation. Yes, Roseanne was not rich, but after seeing the 9th season, and after seeing what it would be like IF they were rich, I would indeed pick them. If you had had a little more variety with your choices people would not have started adding more choices. It's pretty darn clear your not a "people person".

I want to apoligize to the rest of you that posted on this thread. It is obvious tylerjjj has got a chip on his/her shoulder. The person came on this thread with an attitude. If you don't like the families I submitted, then create your own topic. I didn't hold a gun to your head and make you come on this thread. You chose to. You didn't have to respond if you didn't like the families I put. Since you are telling me you don't like black familes, to each his or her own. I think I would pick The Jeffersons. Yeah, I know George could be arrogant, but damn, he could also be pretty funny!:D And besides, he did have softer moments, kind of like Archie Bunker, where you could see he wasn't just a jerk. And "Weezy" was just a nice lady, but strong, who put up with a lot.

I know i went off topic but i'm just being real. That's just like white people in the audience at Paul Mooney's show not laughin at his jokes about white people. White people should know what type of comedy Paul does so if you know he doesn't like whites, why would they come to his show? LOL. I was watching his standup Analyzing White America & i saw white people in the audience that wasn't laughin at what he was saying.

Maybe I shouldn't have blown up too when I told everyone to stick with the choices. When I submitted this thread those three families were the only ones I could think of at the moment. You guys that added other families added some good families that I should have mentioned, especially the Tates from Soap. I don't want to be controversial, I just want to have a civlized conversation with everyone, black or white, it's obvious we all like entertainment.
