Man so of the most funny scenes in S&F are when fred sings the ink spots. I just watched "Bank On This" from season 5. ANd at the end when he saved the bank. THey asked him to say some words to the millions of people watching. ANd of course Fred G Sanford does his ink spots inmitaion. Its so hillarious they was he rasies his hand. And trys to hit that high note but can never quite get it:lol: ANd i have never even heard the ink spots only been around for 20 years lol. There is other great times when he sings that also cracks me up.

That's Fred's signature song!! He calls it his anthem! His was really mad when he was in the audience watching The Gong Show and saw some white guy butchering the song. He rose up from his seat and started yelling..."GONG!!"..."GONG!!!"..."GONG!!!"

"Buenos dias, buenos noches, buenos knows where the wild goose goes"

"I am French born, I am French bred, and weeth ze French bread I make ze French toast"

"The next sound you'll hear is the continuous pounding of this 2x4 upside yo head"

"He's walking, he's walking. That kills me" (Jack Carter, RIP)

What great stuff that was. What garbage we have to deal with today.

Just to be accurate the ..."Look he's walking!!" guy was not Jack Carter but a actor named Joe Silver. Jack Carter was in a episode of S&S though. He was in the episode about Fred in the Redd Foxx lookalike contest. He played the Sanford's account.

Accountant: "You guys can't use this place as a tax shelter."

Lamont: "Why not??"

Accountant: "Cause it is a animal shelter!!"

Lamont: "You....#$#%^$&$$%#!!"

There you go, glenny, I remember thinking Joe Silver was Jack Carter, but then realizing he wasn't. They looked a little alike, I guess.

Wasn't the episode with Joe Silver one where Silver played a promoter or club owner, and he wanted "The Zanies" with Bowlegs and another player, but Bowlegs' partner could't make the show, so Fred (and Lamont?) joined up with Bowlegs to do a Zanies gig?

What a laugh Silver had. "He's walking, look at that, he's walking. That kills me. Hahahahahahahah.
