I just watched the case today about Paul Whipkey (sp?) which is totally mysterious. I have noticed many military cases on UM of guys disappearing and they hint that it is all covert/CIA type relations. I have 2 questions. For one, what do you all think? Do you believe its related to the CIA and if so, do these guys disappear to go do dirty work (being used) and are killed off or do you think they are living happily elsewhere, totally devoted to their job living under an assumed name? Each of the cases is super strange tho I recall one where a military guy was seen by his sister at a gas station but he drove away frantically...

I would agree that these cases are strange. I'm not totally sure what to think about them. I remember one case where someone supposedly went missing in Vietnam and then was seen by family members, mysteriously lurking at a distance. I am sure that the military does cover certain things up (perhaps for very good reasons). Somehow I doubt that these people who have gone missing are living perfectly normal lives, especially after having lived through what many of them have.
In a somewhat unrelated case about the military, I remember the story about a man who claimed to have met an identical twin at the train station at the end of WWII. This man supposedly had the same last name as the other man, but the man claimed to have lost his address (conveniently). I'm sorry, but I have a hard time believing this one. I'm actually surprised that UM decided to do the segment with such sketchy information. It was entertaining, though, I have to admit.
