View Full Version : With Or Without Her Glasses?
ClassicTVGal 11-16-2004, 04:46 PM Alright everyone here is a new poll!! :D
Do you prefer Angela with galsses or without them? Or both? Or you cannot really choose an answer is okay too.
I like her with them on, but I prefer her without them myself. Actually I think with her hair down and the glasses on looks better. LOL That sounds silly but that is what I think. Or in a simple pony-tail.
Sara Micelli 11-16-2004, 05:16 PM Definitely without. The glasses, however, were so very 80s.
EmoJoe 11-16-2004, 07:08 PM I dont know, both I guess, but her glasses WERE very 80s
spunkygirl 11-16-2004, 08:16 PM Both, I think she looks adorable with her glasses on, but she's a knockout when she doesn't wear them as well, so it's win/win thing ;)
Lil Micelli 11-16-2004, 08:33 PM Both... her glasses were 80s, yeah, but it was the 80s! Anyway, she looked so cute in them... especially at the end of "Walk on the Mild Side". But without them, she is gorgeous!

OMG, I know. Her eyes are gorgeous.
Lil Micelli 11-17-2004, 12:00 AM My eyes look like hers. The little bit of green that fades to brown. At least that's what I think hers look like up close... *goes to check*
ClassicTVGal 11-24-2004, 02:52 PM You know what? After I have seen more eps and things, I like her both ways now. LOL And it really dawned on me during "Death and Love" Part 2 when Tony and Angela are at the ball game and she tries on those man's glasses.
Also when Judith put on those glasses on Tony's show Monday. Still Angela! LOL ;)
Sweet Brunette 11-30-2004, 05:40 AM Angela was gorgeous with and without glasses.

ClassicTVGal 12-17-2004, 12:02 AM Actually Judith doesn't wear glasses. At least I don't think I ever have seen her with any on, besides her character as Angela.
freshprinceofLA 12-18-2005, 03:39 AM well i like it both..she looks coo wit da big hair and 80's glasses..
WhoStheBoss_Fan 12-19-2005, 09:16 AM shes pretty either way, but those glasses are funny they kind of "make" her ya know?
Classicshowsgurl15 07-27-2007, 02:26 AM I think she looks better without the glasses.
I kind of like her best without, but she still looks good when she puts them on.
AMackII 08-14-2017, 08:09 AM I think Angela always look perfect without Glasses
'80sSitcoms 08-15-2017, 10:35 AM Well without, of course. I love the '80s, but those enormous '80s glasses didn't help anyone, lol.

Haha! I totally agree! Her glasses are so big that they cover her cheeks. Why would her cheeks need to see better? I know it was the fashion at the time, but still!

I dunno, I guess maybe the thought at the time was "Hey! If we make the frames a lot bigger, that will increase the uninterrupted field of vision for the wearer!" But they didn't take into account all those of us having to look at the people wearing these giant frames, lol.

Large glasses are a horribly ugly look.

BigManMike 10-01-2017, 12:47 PM Actually Judith doesn't wear glasses. At least I don't think I ever have seen her with any on, besides her character as Angela.
Actually I do remember she wore glasses in some of her scenes on that Family Ties episode she appeared in.
'80sSitcoms 10-03-2017, 06:07 PM Even though '80s glasses like that were horribly big, I do love that Judith sometimes wore them as Angela for working. They just fit in in a charming way with "Oh, those were the '80s :-) ". And the way she will put them on or take them off can look very chic, lol.
Cute pic of Val, but her glasses aren't near as big as the MONDO-huge '80s glasses like Judith had, lol.
RetroGuy2000 10-04-2017, 12:17 AM I think her glasses made her look harried, or short on time. Then again, that may just be because they often had her wearing the glasses when she was doing accounting-type stuff.
