The Canadian cartoon channel Teletoon (http://www.teletoon.com/) is planning to launch an digital all-classic cartoon channel next year. Much like the Boomerang (http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/tv_shows/boomerang/index.html) digital classic cartoon channel in the U.S.

No schedule out yet, but here are some shows that are rumoured to air on the new Teletoon Retro channel when it launches.

The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show
The Care Bears
The Flinstones
Inspector Gadget
He-Man/She-Ra series
The Hulk (1960's)
Jabberjaw/Jose And The Pussycats/Speed Buggy
The Jetsons
Laugh-a-Lympics (sp?)
The Racoons (CBC Cartoon)
The Roadrunner Show
Scooby Doo Where Are You
The Smurfs
Spiderman (1960's)
The Superfriends

An official schedule may be available in January when Teletoon plans its launching date.

Anybody else have any ideas for classic cartoons for the new Teletoon channel? :)

Care Bears? HeMan? I wish I could get this station in the states as well. Care Bears aired on TOON DISNEY for a short while, but then they decided not to air it anymore.

And he-man hasn't been on television for years - last time I saw it was on USA network.

Maybe someday they'll get HeMan out on dvd. :(

It sounds to me that Teletoon Retro will be airing more Hanna Barbara cartoons than any others. Even though there is no specific schedule, I hope the will even out the options. I would like to see some classic Japanese cartoons on that channel as well.
