blackbiped 11-28-2001, 08:26 PM The Davy Jones episode is like fine wine. That is, it should be in a cellar somewhere for the next thirty years.

Jack1000 01-22-2002, 12:12 AM Hi,
Anybody know where they got the information regarding the Pop-Up-Brady tidbits? Some of it is in Barry's Growing Up Brady book/and the Elizabeth Moran Guide to the Brady Bunch. But is there a reference book where Nick at Nite got all this information to use for the Pop Up episodes?
Mijada 01-23-2002, 07:59 PM Thank God they finally have a couple new pop up episodes! I had enough of Davy Jones and Joe Namath all Summer long.
I'm sure they got a lot of it directly from the cast members, family members of the cast, Sherwood Schwartz, writers, directors, and other behind the scenes people.
jehobden 12-08-2018, 05:56 PM I just finished dubbing this Pop-Up Brady marathon from tape to disc, and I was thinking there was at least 1 other episode to get the Pop-Up treatment, that being "The Cincinnati Kids" (Kings Island). Am I wrong about that? Were there others also made into Pop-Up episodes, as I'd think there would be at least 10 rather than 9 episodes of this? The Grand Canyon & Hawaii episodes would be fun to see this way too, but they're probably too long, each having 3 parts.
My first book about this show, "The Brady Bunch Book" (1990), is also a great reference source for the show, even if it's not always accurate. I think Sherwood Schwartz wrote the Brady theme with Frank DeVol, who wrote most of the music for this show and also wrote the theme song for My Three Sons. Mr. DeVol also made guest appearances acting in episodes of both these series.

Boy, I've been looking for those Pop Up Brady episodes! If you don't want the tape, I'd really like to dub it to DVD! (I think you're right--IIRC the Kings Island episode was also given the pop-up treatment.)
DeVol also did all the music on the later M3S, probably the color seasons.

tenter 04-30-2024, 11:24 AM I missed the pop up bradys, there used to be on youtube for The Honeymoon, Mail Order Hero, Dough Re Mi, Getting Davy Jones (another one is there)
Adios Johnny Bravo (Pop Up #4) is still there on youtube.
I think I noticed few months ago or so, these were removed from youtube.
I remembered watching first back on nick@nite in July 2001. Are there any others available?
