I like to watch and see how many names they mention that are real. For instance, in the "Greg has orange hair" episode, Bobby and Carol are on the stairs talking about the virtues of not being a quitter, and Carol mentions "Carl Mahakian." If you watch the credits, C.M. is one of the technical staff. Same with the "Most popular boy, Billy Garst." He is also one of the Tech guys.

There's one episode, can't remember which, where Marcia mentions Lloyd Leeds, a boy at school who she thinks is dreamy. He was named after producers Lloyd Schwartz and Howard Leeds.

Also either in "Tell it Like it is" or "The Babysitters", Mike and Carol are eating out and Mike says, "Hey, there's Charlie Hoffman, I haven't seen him in years." Charles Hoffmen in real life was a script editor on the show!

How neat. I never really knew that.
