I already posted this here (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?s=&threadid=124947)

But I guess this can be like a DVD Discussion thread :)

Oh I definitely plan on buying it. I know it's ran to death on ABC Family and Nick at Nite but I have a feeling that these will be the original network episodes. Plus I'd love to see the unaired pilot.

I think the cover art is really neat. Some people at the TV DVD board think it's butt ugly. I think the reason why some people may not like it is because it has such an 80's look to it.

By the way, I too, would like to see the "uncut" pilot. Yep I really like the cover art. :)

Even though im not a huge fan of this show anymore...i think im going to get the DVD :)

Oh, and extras--wouldn't it be nice if they had episode commentaries (cast and crew talking; sharing memorable moments from the episode)? I think The Golden Girls might have some of that, too. Are you a fan of The Golden Girls?

:yeahthat Just what I was gonna say. They had it on the Boy Meets World DVD and it ruled. They just have creator commentry here.

And, what is the show Silver Spoons? I've heard of it, but don't remember watching it. I saw it in ClassicTV's signature.
Silver Spoons is an 80s family show about a rich only child (meaning, he has no siblings). It centered around his life with his parents and friends. It's sort of à la "Richie Rich," I guess. :)

I thought the 1st episode, Our Very First Show, was the pilot

That is the pilot, but there was another pilot that was shot in which another guy was cast as Danny and a different set of twins played Michelle. Obviously they didn't like the other guy playing Danny, so they brought in Bob Saget, and the Olsen twins were hired because the other twins weren't very cooperative. So with those changes, another pilot was shot and they liked what they saw.
