Can't say I have. I want those Ray and Pete CD's. Ever heard of those two old farts fighting in a San Francisco Apartment? :p

I intend to see it tomorrow. I've been looking forward to it ever since the first preview I saw of it on TV.

My dad's gonna take me and my sis to see it over Thanksgiving break. He really wants to see it.

I remember once my dad was on the phone with one of his coworkers who was at the airport. His friend said "Do you know who just walked by? Ray Charles!" To which my dad responded "Don't forget to wave!"

I haven't seen the film yet. I want to see it. I'm waiting until it gets to the cheap theaters like the Rainbow.

Ray is a excellent movie. Jamie Foxx did a very good job. The dude who played Booger in Revenge Of The Nerds movies was in it. I forgot his real name. He was the head of a record company that Ray had signed with.

Great review Brian. I'll probably wait for video, but I'll be sure not to miss it. I love Ray Charles' voice. One of my favorite songs is, I Can't Stop Loving You.

I went to see it with my mom and I loved it. I thought it was so powerful and touching, some parts were sad, some parts, were frightening, and some parts were just plain good. I thought the movie was a great biopic and Jaime Foxx deserves his props.

I loved it!

Sharon Warren did an amazing job for a debut! I hope she gets an Oscar nomination (or even the win too!)

Ditto for Jamie, he did an amazing job! I hope he gets an Oscar too!

I also read that Jamie Foxx glued his eyelids shut so he can bring the role justice. I also read that Jamie was really singing and playing the piano
(which I believe because he's musically inclined).

Also Ray Charles picked Jamie to play him before he passed away.

I don't think he sang. I'm pretty sure he did play the piano and he said on Letterman a while back that he had make-up put over his eyes.

There are a few scenes where Jamie is singing, but not many. They mostly had him lipsynch to Ray Charles studio recordings.

I watched Ray last night, and I just loved it. The music was great, and I loved all the flashbacks to his childhood. Ray Charles led quite a life. Jamie Foxx deserves his Oscar nomination. At 2 1/2 hours, it's a long movie, but it flew by. I hated to see it end.
