J.J. and Thelma. When they insulted one another, it was lame. It was like, "did somebody say something funny?"

I can see your point Garfield, however I actually find the JJ / Thelma banter quite funny... when they talk over one another. Each to their own I suppose.

After hearing about John Amos' objections to JJ's character, I now cringe when James reacts to JJ's jokes. Still think JJ's okay though... he does brighten up the show.

thelma and michael's interactions were tired as well. hell, everybody with michael (except James) were of no consequence.

Yeah, I agree...I didn't like Keith either.

It was like he came out of no where and it was so corny when him and Thelma were obviously going to have sex in her bedroom....

If he's a football star then why would he move in withhis girlfriend into the ghetto?

Michael annoyed me too, I wish they would've shown James whopping him on screen.

Keith moved in with Thelma because he broke his leg which meant no contract and no other income-lol

Yeah, they always seemed more like family members who tolerated each other to keep family peace rather than genuinely liked each other!

I agree. Michael and Thelma's interactions were boring.

I never cared for Michael, but I liked his interactions with James.

Yeah I agree. You had two characters (Michael/Thelma) who were not funny on their own talking to each other. BORING-LOL
