OMG! Where did you find out this info? & When will it be out? I have just got to get a copy. I hope they put out all of the seasons esp the Chico ones. & In March 2005 season 3 of Starsky and Hutch is supposed to be out. I'll be getting that & CATM. My hubby :elvis: is gonna be sooo sick puke: of watching Starsky and Hutch & CATM next yr lol... :rotflmao: :)

It may NOT be season one. Full details are not in yet, but Warner is also putting some shows on bonus discs with 1-2 episodes of other shows. Just keep checking back for further updates.

I edited the list in that thread so that it doesn't say Season 1, until season sets are confirmed.

I can't wait and i am anxious to see the uncut version of the return of aunt connie!!!

Ooops, sorry for being Gun Ho on this ladies, but just hope and pray, that there will be a full, complete first season DVD of Chico and the Man in 2005 and not just a few episodes on a bonus DVD:)

Well we can look at it this way, if the bonus dvds sell well, they'll have to see the demand is there for Chico. Still.....at least it was mentioned. It's more than we've had all year.

I went to the TVSHOWSONDVD site and could find NOTHING mentioned specifically about Chico and the Man for 2005. I went to the thread 2005DVD Release list thread on these boards and saw the posts by vashti999 who started the thread and Pavanbadal who both have Chico and the Man on their lists.

The only thing I found on the TVSHOWSONDVD site was this article
Earlier this year Warner Bros announced their pilot episode promotion (buy the pilot episode of a series for $6 and receive $5 off the full set), and now they've announced another promotion that we're very excited about.

2005 marks the 50th anniversary of Warner Television, and everyone is invited to the party. Yesterday we brought you news on six comedy titles that will debut on Feb 8th. What we didn't mention was the exciting promotion they're launching on the same day. Each set will feature a special bonus DVD with 1 or 2 episodes of shows from the Warner Television vaults. While a list of the episodes wasn't available, we were told that the episodes on these bonus discs will be titles that aren't currently available on DVD. Consumers can collect all 15 discs throughout the year (Feb, June, Sept and Nov).

That's not all! Warner Bros is also launching a consumer rebate offer with these sets. You can receive up to $50 when you purchase specially marked sets, such as the Feb 8th titles. Buy 2 sets and receive $10 back, 3 sets gets you $20, $30 if you buy 4, $40 for 5 and you'll get $50 back if you purchase 6 sets. Since this promotion runs all year you'll have many opportunities to get $50 back, and we're told that you can redeem this offer more than once. You could buy 3 of the 6 titles released on Feb 8th and get $20 back, then buy 5 more sets throughout the year to get another $40 back.

It sounds like Warner Bros is planning to celebrate 2005 with great sets, good bonuses, and excellent savings for consumers. I wonder how many people will try to collect the entire set of the bonus discs; I know I will.

There is NO mention of specific shows, in fact they say that Warner Bros hasn't published that information yet on the bonus shows. My question to both vashti999 and Pavanbadal is, WHERE ARE YOU FINDING THIS INFORMATION!!!!! Sorry, I am grateful to you both for having spent the time looking it up. I appreciate all the research you both do. I guess I am so fustrated at this point about wanting this show on DVD, I am having a hard time believing anything related to the possible release of it on DVD and I need to see it in black and white officially myself. It isn't that I don't believe you aren't truthful, but I don't want to get my hopes up only to have them dashed.... I can't take that kind of emotional rollercoaster ride right now. Forgive the tone of this post, it isn't meant to be mean, it is just born out of fustration, that's all.

I hope they release all the seasons of CATM. We just gotta pray. guess anything is better than nothing. But still I want all the eps esp the Freddie ones...

I think I am the one that is responsible for adding to your frustration by announcing zealously that there was going to be a Chico and the Man DVD out in the 2005, once again I deeply apologzie for the lack of information:( and being also responsible for getting people's hopes high..

I do say it is a bit of a disappointment but i also want to thank you for checking into that information for all of us. It is a dream we are all waiting for and i do appreciate that you cared enough to let us know...and any CATM on DVD is better than none. 1,2 or 88 as long as we can see Freddie do what he did best, make us laugh.

No need to apologize. It was a slight miscommunication, nothing more. It is great news and more than we've had in quite a while. I hope it can be cleared up soon so we have a better idea of what to expect though. ;)

And I am not upset at ANYONE. I guess it came off that way and I want to apologize for that. I was just trying to see if I could get more definite information from the two people who did post the show on their lists. I thought maybe they went to a different source that I didn't find.

We all hope and pray the show will be out on DVD soon!

I think mine would still be the return of aunt connie, i am anxious to see if there are any impressions he did in that show that were cut out...and i'd love to see more of him as that baby
