Court documents have revealed that Liza Minelli's former bodyguard has accused the singer of forcing him to have sex with her in order to keep his job.

M'hammad Soumayah is suing Liza for damages, saying she made "many repeated attempts" to compel him into sex and he "eventually succumbed".

He also claims that she "hit and assaulted him repeatedly". Ms Minelli, the daughter of Judy Garland, said it was a "quicksand of untruths and misstatements".

The Oscar-winner has said she will "vigorously" defend herself against the claims and added that her former bodyguard and chauffeur caused her "a great deal of personal distress and pain". She countersued Mr Soumayah earlier this week claiming breach of contract.

This guy deserves an award for being able to "get it up." I know I wouldn't have.

I recall her most recent ex-husband accused her of being physically abusive. Liza has led a troubled life, but she seems okay. I think her erractic upbringing left her with emotional baggage.

Oh man, someone else is picking on her. Poor Liza. She's gone through so much, and everytime she gets her head above the water somebody else tries to drown her again. She doesn't deserve this.

She's gone through more than anyone should ever have to. Her mom didn't survive it. :(

I think his greed for money has overcome his dignity. Thing is, he's probably full of it. He sees deep pockets. In his enterprising mind, he's probably imagining a book and movie deal.

The sad thing is, many people know how troubled and insecure she is. With her kind of money, unfortunately, she's a magnet for a$$holes to try and take advantage of her. Same thing happened to Judy - she kept falling for rats.

I never really understood Liza's "icon" status, I'm sorry I just don't.

I understand Bette Midler, Barbra Streisand, Madonna, Cher and Diana Ross, but Liza baffles me. She is a good actress though.

She's basically famous for being the daughter of Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz.

Liza is an astounding perfomer in her own right. She's loaded with talent and has displayed it for years. Her mother no doubt has something to do with her "icon" statis but Liza eaned most of it on her own if you ask me.
