I was watching a show (this is not related to the show, but...), and Uncle Phil said "Geoffrey should join us in this meal because of his guest of honor," or something like that...

That got me thinking: When DO butlers eat?

Educated
With money
He's well dressed
Not funny
And not to say in
Most conversations
But he'll foot the bill in
Most situations
Cause he pays for everything
Girls don't like boys, girls like cars and money
Boys will laugh at girls when they're not funny ..............

and the answer is pretty obvious.......

They probably eat with the rats at midnight...not that I know for sure or anything. I'm just guessing.

They never do. Butlers don't need to eat. They're all robots.

It is not widely known that butlers eat all their meals after their deaths.

Their souls are immediately transported to Servatory, which is on a parallel plain with Purgatory, except in Servatory all missed meals by servants are made up.

In the case of the butler, say he served 30 years, well then he would eat 365 (days) x 3 (meals) x 30 (years) .

Or 32,850 meals.

After this is completed he moves on to his next level of either Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory.

Now you would think that butlers would eat meals on their days off, but you know what, they are so used to not eating at all that most of them say, "Ah f--k it," and wait until death.

I don't know why I'm answering this, but anyways:

In the old households butlers, maids, and other servants would all eat together once the main dinner course had been served to the people upstairs. They wouldn't have too much time - roughly a half hour before they all had to return to work, but that's how it was done.

Watch Gosford Park.
