This thread is not meant to be political and talk about the war in Iraq. It is simply to pay homage to all the veterans who served this great country and for all those who gave their life to preserve the freedoms we all love.

Thanks to all of the Veterans! I was in my history class yesterday, and my professor served in the Army. In the class there was 1 man in the Army, 2 in the Navy, and 1 in the Marines. He had all of them stand up in class, and we applauded them. It was really nice.

I didnt have school today for a professor to do any of my nature, but my American History professor did ask if anyone in the class had been in the army, it was a while ago and on some unrelated subject (he was talking about like..the medical exams during the Spanish American war or something)

Anyway, only one person in the room (of 50 or so), had been in the army, and I think he was going to college because his enlistment was up.
