Members and Moderator,

I was born on June 13, 1972 in Texas, USA. I was lucky to be born in the very early-seventies. I think the 1970s were a great time to be born. The psychedelic and wonderful programing which aired on each network. THE COURTSHIP OF EDDIE'S FATHER and THE BRADY BUNCH were two great family sitcoms. I thought Bill Bixby was a great role model for all fathers in THE COURTSHIP OF EDDIE'S FATHER. And the children in THE BRADY BUNCH were great role models for all children.

Well I was born in 1965, so I seen a bit more than you I suppose, and I actually grew up watching the Brady Bunch, which you're right, they were a good role model bunch. Then again, things on TV were pretty limited to audiences, as no one tackled issues like war, drugs, spousal/child abuse, job insecurity, and even death... until All In The Family came on.

I did enjoy the Brady Bunch, as well as The Courtship Of Eddie's Father, as well as The Flintstones (afternoon reruns by my time), My Favorite Martian, Beverly Hillbillies and, of course, Gilligan's Island.

Some of those shows seem dumb compared to todays's shows, but I still love em' as they remind me of much simplier times. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Ah well... just glad I was around to live in those times, and enjoy the culture of America and its TV shows then. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/cool.gif http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/dizzy.gif
