Any die hard GH fans out there?

What are your favorite characters and why?

General Hospital is my most favorite soap too watch. I do watch others but this one is my alltime favorite soap opera.

My favorite characters are:
1. Carly- I liked her alot back then when Sarah Brown played her but when Tamara Braun started to play her I did not like her at first but I got use to her and now I like her alot more.
2. Georgie-I always thought that she was a nice and sweet person.
3. Emily-I always loved her especially when Amber Tamblyn played her but when Natalia Livingston started playing her I did not like her at first but I got use to her alot more.
4. Brook Lynn- I did not like her when she first came on the show but now I like her alot.
5. Kristina-I think that she is so cute. I just love her alot.
6. Liz- I have always loved her very much and I also think that she is so pretty too.
7. Courtney- I don't know anybody that likes her but I have always liked her.
8. Lucky-I have always loved him since Jonathan Jackson played him and I still love him with Greg Vaughn playing him.
9. Nicholas- I have always liked him too even when Stephen Martines played him.
10. Micheal & Morgan-I like them both they are such cute kids and are smart too.

My favorite people are:

1. Sonny because he is hot and a really complex character.
2. Carly because she is turning out to be a really good person.
3. Alexis because I've always loved her. She's so neurotic. :)
4. Ric because he can be a total jerk one day and a hero the next.
and
5. Luc because I'll never give up my hope that Laura will come back and they'll be a super couple again.

Did anyone watch today's episode? I won't spoil it if you didn't but I was sobbing by the end.

I saw today's General Hospital and I liked it alot. It was sad today. Actually I think it has been good this whole week.

I was a diehard GH for over 20 years, but stopped watching it last year because of too much Sonny, Carly, Jason and Courtney, and just too much Sonny in general, does Sonny have to be in practically every scene? :rolleyes:

Sonny is one of my favorite characters but I definitly do not like that he is so over exposed. He hasn't been on as much as usual lately and I heard he's taking a break (his wife just had a child) so you should start watching again.

General hospital is not like what it used tp be. The story is too predictable. Its always about "who's the babies father". That same story is exactly the same as all my children and one life to live. They always come back from the dead, I mean, isn't that getting old. I rather all the regular channels show soap opera reruns from the 50s to the 80s just like old sitcoms and shows. Entertainment was just much better back than.

I feel the same way. I stopped watching a few months ago. I haven't missed it for one second. That really surprised me, because I thought that I would miss it at least a little bit. I became extremely bored with the Sonny Show, and I hate the fact that GH glorifies mobsters.

I so agree about the whole Sonny and Carly and who's the father story lines...every day I watch I get so pis*ed off that the writers are so stupid..... I mean there are other people on the show to... And Courtney storylines I am tired of to, I mean she could tell Mac or Jax secretly and they can get that chick, but NO!!!! course not...
I like Faith though, but am really sick and tired of seeing Sonny's face every day, nothing can harm him and do you see the way he talks to the cops,especially Mac..... His ASS should be in JAIL and throw away the key!!!!!!!!!! There rant over........ :livid:

Like I said before, I like Sonny but it's not called the Sonny Show. I liked to see storylines involving Dillon and Georgie, Bobby and anybody, and maybe something with Lulu. Even a Quartermain storyline (besides Emily's neverending bad luck) would be welcome. Something!

I really like GH but the story lines with Emily and Sonny takes away from the rest of the show...IMO

Hey! I love "General Hospital". It is my all time favorite Soap Opera of all time. Skye Quartermaine Jacks is my all time favorite character on "General Hospital", and in television in general also. Robin Christopher is also my all time favorite actress on the show, and in television in general. Robin is on *amazingly* talented actress, and everytime that Skye cries or something, I am crying right along with her. My all time favorite couple on the show, and also couple in television in general is Jax and Skye. I want them to get back together as soon as possible. Ingo and Robin are simply *amazing*! :D

I totally agree with the Sonny and the Emily storylines... Emily makes me want to gag.... She gets Allen to confess to Rick and Alexis that he drove them off the road(Huh!!!) she is sickening..... However I do still like the other characters(some anyways) I do love Ned... I like the way Luke calls Skye (Blaize)...I know they don't show many of the people that have been on for years, some just don't have the storylines, like Tony they don't show him much...They will be bringing on a new Maxi(Felicia's kid).....

Well my favorite i think is lorenzo because he cares for carly no matter what and now all he wants to do is help!

Yes I agree to, about Jason living but that is so obvious, and I think it would be and easy way out if AJ dies....But isn't he suppose to be leaving the show for good anyways??? I thought when he came back they would have done another re-cast...which again would have sucked.....But he should be able to pay for what he did...... I thought I heard to that Jason might be leaving again???? Does anyone know???? I hope not and if so he takes Sam and they actually live a life together somewhere away from Sonny.....

And Sonny with Reese, eeeewwwww!!!!!!! gross....why does Sonny always have to have a woman, man if I had to choose between being alone for the rest of my life or being with Sonny, I would definately choose to be alone....he is nasty.......

And the new Carly again eeeewwww!!!!!! she can't act....So I don't even watch those parts......

I just learned that the show is up for Best Drama Series AGAIN this year. :confused: How does this once-great-but-now-unbelievably-horribly-ridiculously-masochistingly-bad show get nominated year after year in this period? I blame whoever's writing this crap now.

It's Kirsten Storms. Believe me. Her acting on DAYS makes Jennifer Bransford look like Anthony Geary by comparison.

I am a diehard gh fan, I have been watching gh since the mid 70's. I love Robert, Anna, Holly, Sean and Tiffany, Frisco and Felicia, everyone from the 70's and 80's and 90's. I think the writers are ruining the show by showing nothing but mob story. GH needs to go back to the wonderful show it used to be, with focus on families and friends.

I am so glad that GH won an Emmy the very last one of the nite too.... I was so excited.......

But I have to say again that this new Carly, she makes me want to puke:
I am having a real hard time watching those scenes... I have to be honest, I can pretty much guess what it's about so I tape the shows and fast forward the commercials and the boring parts, like Carly and Sonny, Coutney and Jax, Emily and Nicolas.......
I didn't even think she (Emily) would win an Emmy, I don't like her or her acting......

And the custody thing with Alexis and Sonny is getting so old too...
I thought the part with Luke pretending to be married to Tracy was a HOOT!!!!!! :lol: Man that was priceless......

you don't like Bobby? why not shes a respected veteran who has been on the show decades longer than anyone invovled in the mob and she can actually act!

I think that Bobby over acts sometimes...I don't know, she just seems fake.....I think when a storyline sticks with one person for too long I get tired of them and then their over acting to... Just like all those episodes with Luke always chasing Helana..I got so tired of those, I am glad he has moved on to something else..... JMO

know you know how i feel about Sonny, Jason, Carly, Courtney, Alcazar, Resse, Ric and Alexis. Its been too long since we've seen a storyline about ANYONE else so i'm just so glad to see veterans like Bobbie and the Q's getting airtime.
