IMDB says Tony is 5'11" and Judith is 5'8". That's not possible, she was practically towering over him!

Okay, I'm done. :P Height on IMDB has been wrong before. Heck, height in Hollywood isn't always accurate. I haven't seen that show in a while so I can't quite remember if she is taller than him, but I definitely noticed before that they are very close in height. Definitely closer than 3 inches... I know she wears heels, but even so.

My guess is a little fudging was done on Tony's height there... 5'11? I don't think so...

Yeah, he really doesn't seem that tall on his show. I can't think of how tall he would be, though...but I think Alyssa Milano towered over him when she was on his show last month, and I don't think she had on any heels.

Hmm... I am looking at a picture in People where he is standing next to Paris Hilton during his show. She looks pretty even with him. I doubt she is in shoes that make her THREE inches taller. She supposed to be 5'8. I wonder if he has a heel on his shoe. I wouldn't be surprised if he is 5'9. Maybe 5'10--at the most.

I analyze height a lot, but then again, I am not very good at being accruate.

Yep, I'm pretty sure she towered over him. I"m going to have to dig out my tapes and look.

There is NO FRIGGING WAY ALYSSA IS 5'3". She woulda had to wear 5" heels on the show, and I'm positive she wasn't wearing any. That site is BS.

I like analyzing heights, too...For instance, Vicki is just tall enough to look over the top of my head, so she would have to be like 5'6" or 5'7" but no taller than that. And Joe isn't as tall as I thought he would be. The top of my head just passes his chin, so he would be like 5'10". He was definitely shorter than my dad.

I didn't know him as well as you did. I've distanced myself from things that involve mortality. I can't help it. Ever since my Grandfather died, I've tried to turn my back on death and dying. For the moment, it's a defense thing, because I can't handle it.

I know that if I saw Brian, I would only make him feel worse about his state because I'm pretty sure I would lose it.

Well, I always thought Alyssa was on the petite side, but I never knew how tall she ever was said to be. She certainly never seemed much shorter than Tony.

Yeah, I think you have Vicki's height down. Joe always reminded me of a tall looking guy because of how he is built. But 5'10 is a good height. ;)

If you could make it look like you're just visiting an old pal, I know he'd be happy to see you. But if you don't think you can handle it, I understand. I just can't see him on my own because, even though we liked eachother a lot when we knew eachother, I just didn't know him well enough to see him out of the blue like this. Of course, it is not out of the blue... but ya know. I would need you along. Especially since you knew him better, and have seen him pretty recently. And his mother.

I don't blame you for feeling the way you do. I just hope you won't regret this someday.

I'd be the type of person to think "Oh they're here because I'm dying." Well yes, I figured he would think that. But my point was, if it didn't LOOK like we were seeing him because of that, then it would be nice. Lots of old friends gather to see someone when they are ill, but when they can be cheery, it makes the sick person feel better. But since you made it sound like you couldn't treat him like the same old Brian, I understood why you would not want to go.

If, on the other hand, you would be able to treat him normally, I would think it would be a good thing to do. I know that if I was sick, I would be happy to see people I hadn't seen in a while. I know not everyone would feel the same way. That's why I didn't think we should just show up at his door. But rather you ask his mom. I dunno... it was just an idea.

Remember when I said it would be cool to have kids? Yeah. I change my mind.

"If you have small children and haven't been told how much a college education is going to cost in 15 years, then you should make sure you're sitting down when you read this. Conservative estimates put four years at a public (yes, public) university in 15 years at about $100,000 or more. "

Holy crap. Four years at Yale right now would cost like $140-180K. If a public university is going to cost that much in 2020, then I don't want to know how much it'll cost to go to an Ivy League school then.

Yikes! And I won't even be having kids in college in 15 years. More like 30... I'd hate to think what it will be like that far down the road! I need to make sure my husband and I are wealthy people. ;)

Fluorescent lights do suck! We don't have any in our house, but I know that the classrooms' lights would often trigger headaches for me or make them worse. I hope that doesn't happen to you tonight. You already are in enough pain as it is.

Painkillers sounds good about right now.

They used to do the same to me - and still do. Dry erase boards also suck, because the damn fluorescent lights glare off of them. Fun.

Even forced volunteering (quite the oxymoron)? Haha. They made us do 40 hours of community service to graduate. That was teh suX0rz. Talk about a lot of time spent shelving books at the local library..sheesh.

The problem is, the newer the system, the earlier it breaks down. My parents' Atari 2600 lasted for like 25 years until we unloaded it in auction.

My mom still has our origina NES in her room, on which she plays Dr. Mario. We've had that for about 14 years.

My SNES is sitting in my closet, but it's still fully functional after about 10 years of having that. I just don't need it now, with the emulators. :D

My Playstations broke down all the time.

My PS2 went kaput after 1.5 years.

My first XBox went kaput after the same amount of time.

My brother and I were both heavily into NES when we were young kids, so I think we played our NES to death after 5 years of having it. When I was born, we already had one...so I think we got another one in 1990. My brother is the one with the 2nd NES, and it still works perfectly. I have a working NES that I got maybe 12 years ago and it still works, but the damn thing blinks all the time...so I have to get that looked at. It has all the bells and whistles - just need to get it straightened out so it can get going again.

Other than the n64 controllers that broke, I've never broken any. We did, however, **** up both the A and B buttons on one of the NES controllers we had. I dunno what happened, it got stuck and we couldn't unstick it. :o It got stuck into the controller itself. :(

Several years ago, my dad taught me how to take those apart and fix them. Quite often I'd have to clean the contacts on the inside of those, with rubbing alcohol. I'm not so sure about the newer systems' controllers, they'd be a bit more complicated I think.
