T'Keyah Keymáh was the wrong choice for Raven's mother on the show. She doesn't look anything like her.

Both Rondell Sheridan and Kyle Orlando Massey look like Raven. T'Keyah Keymáh looks like she's in the wrong family.

I think T'keyah's skin color is too dark. I think Jackeé Harry from Sister Sister should have played Tanya

I'va always said Jackeé Harry should have played Raven's mother, both because she favors her and she's crazy az hell. I disagree that Raven looks anything like Raven, he reminds me of Donkey Kong(lol!). I know the guy who played her dad on The Cosby Show was really supposed to be the dad on That's So Raven, but they chose Rondell comedic standings over him.

o yea! the mom from sister sister would be perfect as raven's mom. I agree that T'keyah is sort of a miscast but what ya gonna do, u know.

I also think that T'keyah is a terrible actress

I think Jackee who is now 48 would be a bit too old to play Tanya. I would choose someone a little bit younger.
