According to some sources, the new name of the recently moved Montreal Expos to D.C. have been whittled down to three names. They are:

The Senators: The name most synonymous with the Washinton franchises. First from 1956-1960 until moving to Minnesota in 1961. Then the expansion franchise from 1961 to 1971, until moving to Arlington, Texas.

The Grays: The name of the old Negro league team that played in Washington D.C. from1912 to 1950.

The Nationals: The original name of the Washington baseball franchise from 1901-1955

I don't really care for any of those three. Maybe the Washington Gridlocks.

I actually think naming them the Grays would be pretty cool. The only problem with that is, they already have chosen the team colors. They are red, white and blue.
