Of course not. I'm Catholic.

Or at least that's my excuse.

I don't usually read the bible. I believe that God is within all of us. When we experience love, hope, peace, joy, compassion, wisdom, honesty, courage, I think that's what God is. I do watch religious programming occassionally on tv. I like to watch the bible lesson on Vision TV. It's on every Saturday night. I try to watch it when I'm home. I'm not a very religious person, but I do believe in a Higher Spirit.

What? I really am Catholic. Historically, the Church didn't make laymen read the bible because they were all illiterate. Protestants were the ones who started to encourage people to read the bible regularly. That's all I was refering to. I was just using that as an excuse because I've never been interested in reading it.

I went through four years of CCD class, so I am pretty well versed in the Bible. It features some of the most beautiful and powerful writing in human history.

My mom is always saying things like that too, but more in a "I'm protestant and frown on catholicism" type of way.

My school would hold those classes every weekend. I remember my teacher making us clean our desks every friday and pick tiny crumbs off the floor on our hands and knees.

I used to attend Catholic school for K-6, but even then, I didn't believe in God.. my parents now force me to attend CCD, so I just sit there and try to pretend that I actually care.

Besides I dont know if the bible is accurate, its been redone so many times!!

But Matthew 5 and 6 are very good passages!

Why would you want to WORSHIP anyone but GOD?

Besides I dont know if the bible is accurate, its been redone so many times!!

I can insure you that it is ACCURATE !
Why have than been so many people that have try to prove the BIBLE wrong
but turn out only to PROVE IT RIGHT AND ACCURATE?

But Matthew 5 and 6 are very good passages!
So you think that these are the only passages that are TRUE?

If you try to read the BIBLE straight though from Genesis to Revelation, you will probably never understand it!

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and
is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2 Timothy 3:16

Google (and read):
Historical facts that prove the BIBLE is true.

or Scientific finds that prove the BIBLE is true.

or Archaeological finds that prove the BIBLE is true.

Never have, and have no plans to..
Growimg up I believe the Protestant kids talked about bible stories.
.
The Catholics, where I grew up, apparently put ENUF in the 10 Commandents to put me and others on the Right Path.....
