I went with 1984, for obvious reasons. The '94 list isn't so bad, I really like the Sheryl Crow and Madonna singles. The '74 list; I don't remember the songs from Carole King or Bad Company. 2004: Goodies has grown on me, and My Boo is okay.

"Drop it like it's hot" is the best song on that list. :D But the rest of the 2004 "hits" suck, so it's a toss-up between '94 and '84.

1984 was the best, even tho I Just Called.. is probably the nadir of Stevie Wonder's career. But on the upside, Hard Habit To Break is one of Chicago's best, and Purple Rain doesn't need an explantion.

1994- I liked "I'll Make Love To You". However, I'm okay with 2004's list. My Boo and Lose My Breath are both great songs.

1984. 1974 has 3 out of 5 that I like. Prince's record is the only one from 1984 that I don't like. Funny that Stevie Wonder is on both lists.

I personally am surprised anyone would go for 2004.

I do like the DC song tho.... but on average, I would say the current music scene is the worst in my lifetime, and maybe even during my fathers' lifetime too and he's lived through everything, lol
