The Puppet Show.

I think the main con of the first season is not enough episodes for the devoplement of the Master. The WB should have ordered more than 12 episodes the first year and air them over the summer since Buffy was a mid season replacement. Joss did an okay job trying to tell the first season, but it could have used more episodes in my opinion.

I think Nightmares is my fav. Either that or the Pack.

Angel was my favourite. Prophecy Girl is good too though.

Nightmares was my favorite one. The Puppet Show and Prophecy Girl come in second though.

Angel. It was the first episode that DB appeared in for longer than 10 mins :)

Angel all the way, although Nightmares come in a close second.

"Prophecy Girl" is without a doubt the best episode in the first season. It really brought everything that had happened up to that point full-circle. Buffy faced her destiny, battled the Master, and saved the world.

I agree 100%. No contest....It was also the only episode that really showed the Buffy the show would become in it`s amazing second season. Prophecy Girl had it all,..... great action/fight scenes, the emotional relationships were running high, mixed in with comedy, drama, horror, etc, great lines, we saw a closer relationship form between Buffy and Giles, and Jenny and Cordelia in a way officially became part of the group.

I also voted for Witch and Never Kill A Boy On The First Date.

The Pack. It had great acting all around and it was Nicholas Brendon's first big show. We also got to see Alyson Hannigan cry. I love to watch her cry. It always puts a lump in my throat. I also really liked Angel because I find all of the episodes that deal with his history facinating.
