I was wondering why Anchor Bay decided to put that disclaimer about the opinions expressed not being opinions of the company etc. They didn't have it on the season 2 set. Do any other tv show dvds have that type of disclaimer?

Yes, that's done all the time. Studios do it just so they themselves won't be blamed for any comments that may be taken as negative/positive or critical/supportive just because someone made a certain statement on a disc that they released. It's just done so that they won't be held accountable if someone has a problem with something someone says. I didn't notice a disclaimer not being on the season 2 set, but yes, that's done probably 95% of the time.
