I was just wondering how everyone here discovered "Three's Company". Do you love it automatically, or did you have to watch a few episodes first?

With me, I first discovered it on Nick @ Nite back in 2000. I used to watch "The Facts of Life" and when I turned on the TV to watch it, I saw that "Three's Company" was on. I thought it would only be one episode, so I turned off the TV and went back later on to check. When I came back, I saw that it was a marathon. Since the show would be airing regularly on Nick @ Nite, and since they were playing a marathon, I decided to watch it. The first episode I saw was "Out on A Limb" and from then on, I loved the show. So for me, it was love at first sight. I became hooked ever since and now, 4 years later, I love it more than ever.

Definitely.

I was up really late one night, bored with TV. I put on Three's Company, at the time thinking it wasn't that great of a show. But I said I would "see what this show's all about". I was hooked after the first episode. It was a marathon and I ended up staying up until 7 AM, when it ended. I was dying for more, even after about four hours of watching.

I watched it in reruns a couple years ago, and I didn't really understand it. Then, when it came back on, and when I was a little older, I decided to watch it again and I fell in love with it! The first episode I saw was 'Jack Goes To The Dentist' :D As I kept watching the show, Jack and Janet's relationship kept me tuned in, I wanted to see where it was gonna lead, but it didn't really end up anywhere. I love watching this show because of the humor and the characters' relationships :D

That's the same with me, but i knew that there was going to be a marathon on because one thing i defiantly remember about when tc first came to n@n was the advertisements. they had soooo many tc commercials on before the marathon, and i remember thinking omg these commercials are sooo annoying  but then i started to watch the marathon and loved it. oh ya and the first episode i ever saw was "Man About The House":D

I first came across it about 3 years back. I was bored to death & just switching channels when I came across it. I had heard a lot about it but had never watched it before & since there was nothing else on TV I decided to watch it. And I totally fell in love with it. :D

The first episode I watched was Roper's niece & I saw the cute Jack/Janet's interactions & thats when I got hooked. So what really got me hooked besides the fact that it was so darn funny.........Jack & Janet. :D

I came across it on Nick At Nite 3 years ago. I don't remember what my first episode was, but I do remember that I was COMPLETELY hooked! I saw John Ritter and I looked over at my mother and said, "That's the man I'm going to marry!"

I remember the first time I saw a Three's Company scene- it was when the kids bought the Roper's Car. Jack said something like 'It takes a half an hour just to walk to the bus stop.' When Chrissy said "Yeah, with a car we could drive to the bus stop" I was hooked! She was the funniest "dumb blonde" I had ever seen.

Also, Mrs. Roper's cracks about how Mr. Roper can't get it up made me an instant fan. They remind me of my grandparents. It is hard to beleive but my Grandma uses similar inuendo. At a get together the other week my little four year old cousin dried to punch my grandfather in his lap. When my Grandfather got really upset my Grandma said "What does it matter- you don't need it anyway!" I swear they are just like the Ropers!

Oh, I believe it was around 1993/94 when I first started watching Threes Company, maybe even earlier..I dont remember the first episode though that made me watch it over and over again but I was definitely one of those who wanted to see Jack with Janet.

I started watch when I was like 2 or 3, our local station aired it right before Johnny Carson...;)

As I told Joyce (DeWitt), I came across the first episode when it originally aired (March 15, 1977). I saw the scene with Jack waking up in a bathtub and thought the show would be fun to watch. And I became a regular viewer. I never missed Tuesday nights... Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley and Three's Company (and, one year later, Taxi).
