I am looking for a movie made for tv that was on back in the late 90s i believe i dont know if it was on lifetime but it was a lifetime type of movie it was around xmas of 1996 that i had seen this movie. i need to know the title of the movie and if its on video anywhere.
The movie starts with this little boy playing in the front yard and his mom is watching him thru the kitchen window i think, ive seen it only once so i may be a little off Sorry. Anyway his mom turns away for a minute and he is gone, she frantically looks all over for him but doesnt find him as he had been kidnapped, well it turns out he was sold into adoption and years later when he is in colledge he finds his real parents as he knows he is adopted and rents a room from them he knows who they are but they dont know who he is he also has a younger brother who doesnt know who he really is thats always getting into trouble, so he becomes the perfect guest/tennant and these people fall in love with him except the younger brother who is jelouse of him anyway at the end of the movie he sets the younger brother strait but then leaves to go back to his adopted parents and but he leaves a letter to his real parents telling them who he really is. my brother said he thought it was called the xmas gift but thats doesnt sound right can someone please help me.
