Seriously though... I always tell people that my philosophy about elections and our great democracy is that if you don't vote you don't have any right to complain. There are years when I am not really all that thrilled about the choices in candidates, but if I don't exercise my right to vote, it might not be mine one day.patriot: So get out and participate. YOUR VOTE DOES COUNT!

Unfortunately, no, tylersmistress, but I feel the same way. I was never so glad to see Nov 3rd come, just so we can be rid of all the hyperbole! OMG this has been an annoying election year, hasn't it? It won't stop me from doing my duty tho. At least we can elect our leaders. I just wish better people would run!

Amen, i voted but it seems no matter who runs for the office there is good and bad about everyone...but that's life

I have been going out of my mind with this election! I had my mind made up a while ago and was getting hounded by supporters from both parties! I was annoyed by all the party bashing from each party. I can't wait till this night is over
(crossing my fingers that there wont be a recount or dispute). I couldn't believe how stressed I was feeling today over the election! Tomorrow it will be even worse hearing from those who supported the losing party! Oh may the best man win although I am not fond of either candidate! LOL

I am in one of the "battleground" states, and was up waaaay toooo late last night hoping that my state's votes would be fully counted by that time. No such luck! Grrrrr!

Not to mention, I dunno how many recorded political pleas I got over the phone Monday! Booted me offa IM several times while talking to my "other dark angel"--who is a raging liberal BTW, while I would call myself a conservative. We have had some interesting discussions re politics, but lately have been avoiding the subject, cuz he knows he makes me soooo mad LOL! I was hoping to be able to gloat when talking to him this morning, but oh well....:rolleyes:
