Was this the only American produced series to tackle abortion?!

I don't know of any other American produced show where it had a main character have an abortion!

I think it's wrong but it is a real issue and it's stupid how TV ignores it.

I know it's a social taboo but it does happen!

I know on a Canadian show, Degrassi: The Next Generation (one of my favorite shows!) one of the main characters, Manny, has an abortion. And on the original Degrassi series one of the characters also has an abortion.

I hate it how TV shows but especially American teen dramas ignore it like it never happens!

But especially the teen dramas! Heck, they don't even face other issues that teens face! But that's another subject...:lol:

As far I know........Maude is the only character to have an abortion on a comedy.
