"are you sure it says we gotta do this in the script, sweeps week is over"

a man claims to have committed the perfect crime years ago and says he is dieing. he wants it proven he did it as his legacy. he then finds that he will live and goes on the run after dave and maddie have the proof.
the man dies. but then they figure out that the woman at the art museum had a hand in the death of a witness from long ago, instead of the man that just died. they chase her, both driving mobile pieces of art, until they catch her.

i was glad to see maddie and bert on a case together. it was a pleasant change. the part at the old folks home was good too.
not a bad episode.

To me, this is where it all started to go down hill fast. The car scene where David said "They talked it to death" was pitiful. The chase scene was just too stupid. I'm not sure why Bert and Maddie went out on a case together. I've wondered if it might have had more to do with the goings on off camera at the time, but that's pure speculation. It just seemed odd to me.

I think i have already somewhere on this board that I actually enjoyed this episode :D including the chase in the art.

I liked the way Cybill looked in this episode. For many of season 5 episodes, she was dressed very matronly (actually frumpish). I never understood why they would dress her that way.

I agree Kis, she looks very good on Season 5 but the clothing stinks!

Glad she still wore the sneakers!:D
