-The Long Way Round, a book about motorcycling around the world by Ewan McGregor (eee!) and...some other guy.
-The Plot Against America By Philip Roth, which is um...hard to explain. The premise is that Charles Lindbergh (you know, the guy who flew across the Atlantic...Lucky Lindy. Um, until his baby son was kidnapped and murdered) beats FDR in the presidential election of 1940, is a huge isolationist who sets up a pact with the Axis powers that America won't enter WWII, and America's fall into anti-semitism.
-A $30 gift certificate to LUSH, which sells high-end, handmade, organic, vegan bath products that I fell in love with in London, and I can order online, or there's a store on Broadway in NYC...so...
-$100 towards my New York trip this winter.
