I found a webpage concerning the 2nd Mary Morris that was killed. It gives a little more information concerning her brutal attack that UM didn't. I found it interesting.

I think the former colleague and her husband both have motives. The way she died, being viciously beaten, then shot, shows much rage towards the victim. Her husband's activities are very suspicous, however. What does everyone else think?

Yes I agree with you there, both of them seem to have a motive but when it comes down to it I think the husband did it, because of that phone call to Mary's cell.

I tend to disagree with the idea that the hitman would have to be incompetent to have killed the wrong Mary Morris.

In most professional hits, the person who wants the hit may never have given the address of the victim to provide plausible deniability of his phone was tapped.

All the actual hitters may have been given was a photograph and a name from a buffer or broker. The buffer or broker might have been the one that did all the research and saw the phyisical similarities and assumed the wrong target and passed wrong info to the hitters.

I didn't realize this old thread was still up and running. I'm going to go ahead and lock it because years back some investigators asked the Administrator to remove any threads involving this case since it was still an open investigation. Some of the older locked threads had gotten pretty heated with relatives and people involved in the case arguing back and forth so I'll lock this one before any of that starts again. Sorry guys..:)
