If there was a way to find out what your life will be like in the next five to ten years, would you want to know? Or would you just take your chance with letting fate take it direction?

Dutabi84 11-01-2004, 03:35 AM If anything, I'd rather be able to forget the last 5 years. Nighthawk76 11-01-2004, 03:59 AM I would not want to know what is going to happen. Life is a journey, an exploration, knowing the future would take the whole fun out of life. The whole point of life is the journey, learning new things about oneself and the world around us. Stormtracker TF 11-01-2004, 04:59 AM Nope. I'd like my future to be a surprise, knowing what would happen in the next 5 years would take the fun out of living. Besides...If I knew about my future then it would quite obviously change. Superstar 11-01-2004, 05:30 AM No, I wouldn't want to know TJL 11-01-2004, 05:56 AM Yes. Anything that will help me decide what to do with the rest of my life would be greatly appreciated. Kay Scarpetta 11-01-2004, 06:42 AM Nope. I'd rather just let fate guide me. If I turn out being a drug junkie sitting on a corner in a box, well then so be it. But I'd rather just let myself be guided... you never know what will happen. Brent88 11-01-2004, 08:52 AM No. PZelda 11-01-2004, 09:05 AM No, I'll pass. ¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 11-01-2004, 09:45 AM Yes, Id love to know. Moonlight Lady 11-01-2004, 11:35 AM I wanna know so I can be prepared for it. Sterling Holobyte 11-01-2004, 11:37 AM Originally posted by TJL Yes. You're welcome.;) mister bluster 11-03-2004, 06:49 AM Only if it's good. TheGreatPretender 11-03-2004, 07:09 PM no *Pleasant Tomorrow* 11-03-2004, 07:13 PM I wouldn't want to know. It'd kind of ruin the point of living, in a way, and if it was bad...that much worse. In a way I already know what's going to happen because I can read the future, but not the whole thing. Bits and pieces, and there is still uncertainty and doubt in my mind as to whether I'm full of **** or not yet. |
