Some babies suck their thumb in the womb, and then for some time afterward. Some continue to suck their thumb up to five or more years old. What was/is, lol, your experience with that, or someone that you know or have known? :thumbsup: :p

I don't remember doing that, but I can't remember much before I turned 5. :crazy:

My daughter sucks her thumb. She is two years old. My wife also sucks her thumb, she is 28.

I'm 15 and still suck my thumb on occasion. I try not to do it, but I just do it subconsciously. I've been doing it since I was in my mother's stomach.

I dont ever remember sucking my thumb. But my mother didnt allow that, nor did she allow pacifiers. She hates those things- especially when she sees a 3 year old with one.

I never sucked my thumb as a child.

My nephew sucked his til he was almost 10, and my brother's soon to be stepson sucks his sometimes, and he's 7

Hmm...I know my mom wouldn't let me suck on a pacifier, so she probably restricted thumb sucking too.

I think it's ridiculous when kids who have teeth suck on a pacifier.

I do not recall much suckage when I was younger.

My mother didn't allow them either

I sucked my thumb until I was about 5 or 6. Finally my parents had me go to a dentist and he attached metal spikes towards the back of my mouth so that every time I put my thumb in my mouth the spikes would poke my thumb. It worked amd worked fast.

My sister sucked her thumb for the longest time. She was probably around six when she stopped. I remember in the winter when she'd suck it and it'd steam. Ha.

Try it right now. It's fun...unless you just washed your hands like me, and it tastes like soap...so you have to chew on the peanut particle from the Baby Ruth you recently ate that appeared from somewhere in your mouth. :)
