Hey welcome peoples! There seem to be many new members and the boards seem to be a lot more active lately now that we have been getting along and stuff! Just like the old days! Anyway, about the deceased cast members, I think I have a few more to add to the list unfortunately: You people forgot about Gus the Fireman/Burt Mustin! I guess it was assumed that he was deceased since he was old even back then. Also I believe both Beaver's teachers Miss. Canfield from the earlier episodes, (Diane Brewster) and Miss. Landers, (Sue Randall) Beaver's teacher throughout most of the series, are both deceased as well. (Not to sound morbid or anything.) I heard that Sue Randall was a heavy smoker, does anybody know more about this? Somebody mentioned about leaveittobeaver.org and litb.com and I agree they are very good informational LITB websites, and I used to go there all the time a few years ago when I just started watching the show. Happy Beaver-watching garretschickens, (lol) and to all of the other new members! Anyone will tell you it is a great show!

Yes, I believe that Sue Randall did pass away from lung cancer. I also believe she passed away in '74, and I think she was only in her late forties, too.

I stand corrected. Sue Randall passed away in 1984, not 1974. See link below:

my friend's father and stepmom smoke indoors a lot and the house smells really gross! :barf:

Oh I hate that. My Dad started smoking when he was 18 (I think) and went to a hypnotist over the summer and quit because it got to the point where he couldn't get through a sentence without coughing! Now he looks and feels a lot better and hasn't smoked ever since, I think he has quit for good now! When he did smoke my Mom wouldn't let him smoke in the house, he had to go in the basement or outside. Seeing first hand what it did to my Dad, I wouldn't dare pick up a cigarette in my life.

my great grandfather almost set his house on fire so his wife (my great grandmother) made him sit on the front deck while smoking and when he smoked inside she personally dragged the chair he was sitting in outside;)

When I told my grandmother this girl threatened to beat me up, she told me that once this girl did that to her so her mom (the same person i said about before) went with her on the way to school, and saw the girl and then she took her to right in front of her mother and said "If you ever mess with my girl again I'll break your neck":lol: of course she didnt mean literally, but it scared the girl off:p

nowadays if some1 said that they could get in trouble with police for threatening:rolleyes:

LOL yeah old people always have funny but sad stories! My grandpa said he would always get into fights as a boy in Italy, of course people were mean to him too and it's kind of sad. He didn't come here until he was 35. My grandma has told me many stories too, and my Dad's parents who live in Florida have told me a few as well. They are fun to listen to!

My pictures came out bad too, just recently I had a retake but with my luck it turned out worse! A lot of people don't seem to like their school pictures, atleast in my school anyway.
