Dan and Roseanne had been thinner and had more education? How do u think the series would be? Would it be as successful?

It would've been worse. Dan and Roseanne's intelligance paved the way for great plots...and the fat jokes were priceless:lol:

I agree it wouldn't have been successful if Dan had been thin and had better education. The blue collar family theme IS what made it so successful. It was the perfect family like you see on other shows. Not dissing those shows, but this showed a more realistic family and more realiztic problems. You see families like this everywhere you go. How many times do you go out and see families that talk out all their problems and all these days? It's almost sad in a way that isnt the case, but this showed what more families are like.
