View Full Version : Holly Ween at School.
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 10-29-2004, 05:20 PM Wow, I saw a lot of kids dressed up today, despite the fact that I always thought we weren't aloud to...and no one seemed to care. There was a Hostess Twinkee, an iPod, a Sumo wrestler, pirate, two boys dressed up as girls, stuffed and all and other more normal stuff. Damn, wish I had the balls to do that. Nothing else, though, no goofiness.
Sooooo, share you're experiences with Halloween at school.
Janet McFarland 10-29-2004, 05:39 PM Boring.. we had a costume contest at school.. and for the people who really didn't belong up there.. I cheered for them anyway  One of my fellow 8th graders dressed up as the guy from the board game Operation.. he won for Most Creative :D This kid in my homeroom dressed up as a gypsy and one in some category.. noone really likes him so alot of people booed.. I felt kinda bad but then I went along with them because I can't stand him :p
PZelda 10-29-2004, 05:48 PM  I used to do that in school. I think 10th grade was the only year I didn't dress up for Halloween at school. When I was in 11th grade, I came to school decked out in pink, from head to toe. I wasn't really going for a specific person - I just wanted to be dressed in pink. I had a pink wig, tank top, jacket, pants and shoes...A few of my classmates who sat behind me in class complained about how bright my wig was, because it was REALLY REALLY REALLY pink.
AllIWantIsYourClutch 10-29-2004, 05:53 PM We weren't really allowed to either, but people did. One girl was Britney Spears. Another guy had a bow on his head and a sign that said "To: Women. From: God." Then there was a girl who, if you asked her what she was, she would reply "It's called 'My boyfriend dumped me for my brother on prom night in 1982."
TheGreatPretender 10-29-2004, 07:45 PM Haha, we had senior dress up day today at my school. This kid dress up as a tissue box and on the front of the box it said "Blow Me"
-*Forever*- 10-29-2004, 07:51 PM There were lots of people with fairy wings. Mostly guys.
And alot of white sheet/holes cut out for eyes.
EmoJoe 10-29-2004, 08:23 PM Meh..our school stinks. We cant have costumes

Oh, ours was the other way around.
In middle school, they were like, "You're too old, meh" and made us pay $5 if we wanted to wear a costume.
But this year, in high school (last year too) you're allowed to wear whatever costume, do whatever thing.

No one I knew ever did it. We found it pointless, and then tried to find alternate costumes to wear during the day that looked like real clothes.

I'm glad no one paid it....it seems stupid. That was a pretty good idea actually, but I guess nobody could come to school as an iPod....

Oh for us, we can wear costumes, doesn't matter if you're in the 6th, 7th, or 8th grade.
I heard for my high school you can't wear costumes until senior year, which I think is really unfair :(
I haven't had a Halloween party since the 5th grade, we don't have parties in my middle school, only a costume contest, which is better than nothing :D
CheersChild4life 10-30-2004, 09:42 PM We had "Story book charectar dress up day" I want as batman. My costume was way to small for me and went up to about my knees, and batman was also a woman that day. It was fun. We had a ******** party where we got yelled at for everything. Stupid Jr.High

Yeah you can wear costumes in senior year at our High School, too I guess they don't even care at our school, senior or no. That's stupid for just seniors. ****ing rules.
As for parties, I've had at least one class every year where a teacher lets us have one. The whole too old thing is a bull**** excuse for them not wanting to get involved.
