It is time to get this cartoon introduced to a new generation. I love Scooby-Doo, but I'm tired of it. I want to see Yogi Bear on the cartoon network, I don't get boomerang. Time to start marketing Yogi. He is one of the most popular cartoon characters of all time. How could Yogi be slepted on?
Hey I agree with you. Let's get them to get rid of either Dexter or Edd. Ed, and Eddy. :happyface

I read that Yogi made millions of dollars for Hanna-Barbera in the 60's. He was their first superstar, passing Huckleberry Hound at the time. I really think they have to start marketing him. Scooby is getting all the recogition these days. My 8 year-old nephew does not know who Yogi Bear and that is a shame.

It's Cool. Hey Why Don't You Go On www.cartoonnetwork.com for more info.www.cartoonnetwork.com (http://www.cartoonnetwork.com)
I liked the original Yogi Bear cartoons in the 60's. The new ones in the 80's stunk. Same goes for the Jetsons.
Did you guys know Yogi Bear was based on Art Carney, who played Ed Norton on the Honemooners? He had the same type of hat, and talked like Norton.

I read an article about that a few years ago in this Hanna-Barbera biography.
I have the late Bill Hanna's book called a cast of friends.:)
