I don't ever recall them missing any episodes. Anyone know if they did?

According to tvtome there is an episode with Garrett Morris from maybe year 10 in which Louise doesn't appear. it's at the end of the season. I never saw it and can't speculate as to why she would have missed a show. I would have to watch a few seasons and count but it seems that the supporting players all had a certain number of episodes that they were written out of per season and I don't know if they were equitable in terms of how they decided who missed what and how they were paid. Berlinda Tolbert is in some shows in year 2 that don't have Damon Evans. I've seen episodes with Tom but not Helen and vice versa. In the later years when the cast shrunk there are still episodes where one or more player is absent.

It's for that reason that I would have to say that the best interactions in this series were between George and Weezy. I've seen episodes without one or more of the various main supporting players and I didn't miss them, but I would definitely notice a show that had little or no presence by George or Weezy.

BTW, I don't ever recall any episode with just George and Louise and none of the supporting players like Florence, Tom etc
