I have had people ask on the boards what her last name was and i found out. She is the Sherry that we talked about that was on an early UM episode. Her stepdad went into the bank and she was going to get a drink from the gas station across the street and was never seen again.

Then over the next year she was seen in numereous places. One by her uncle who saw her running barefoot along a parkway, another at a truck stop with some shady character.

I can't find much on her but that is all i have found. I have always been haunted by her case for some reason.....

If anyone can find out any information let us know.

Are you sure that Sherry Marler was profiled on UM? I don't remember seeing it on the show. I started watching the show in March of 1989, so it's possible that UM profiled her case before then, and the case was perhaps never rerun on cable.

Anyway, I found a link. Based on the profile's details, it is current. She was born in 1971, and it says that her current age would be 33 (if she's alive).

Thats her! I know that she was on that special that i have talked about before but someone else posted here that she was on one of the first "special" episodes of UM before it became a series...maybe with that other guy (not stack) hosting. I vaguly remember it being on UM and them not presenting all of the clues that other show did......
