I saw it and it wasn't QUITE as bad as I'd imagined. Okay so the 'birds looked like a gay boy band and were impossible to tell apart AND didn't get enough screen time (considering that this movie was called ThunderbirdS) Anthony Edwards was awful and the plot was typical kiddie-saves-the-day sh*t but really, I think it was roasted a bit too hard by some of the critics.

Lady Penelope and Parker were fantastic, they really saved the movie. Without them it would've been miserable but luckily they were included. I just wish that Lady P hadn't been a martial arts butt-kicker (you can tell they only had that because tough chicks are "in" these days). Oh and she drove a Ford. Lady P in a FORD? You've gotta be kidding. Not to mention it FLEW which looked really stupid.

But really, it wasn't the WORST movie ever. It could have been miles better for sure but it wasn't as bad as say, CINO or Charlie's Angels. I found it entertaining on a cheap entertainment level. It's the sort of thing you watch with your brain off on a slow weekend afternoon. I gave it a two and a half out of five.

I didn't see the movie, still don't really know what it's about, but I stumbled across the UK premiere of it this summer. That was pretty cool. I met Sophia Miles who was really nice. There were two 14-year-old British girls in front of me screaming for "Brady." I'm going "Who?" and then Ben Kingsly came by. I scream "Ben!" and they go "Who?" ;)

But Ben Kingsly was there, Jonathan Frakes, Anthony Edwards, Charles Dance, Sophia Miles... and those were the only ones I could recognize. Heard the movie was terrible, but I don't care. It's one of my favorite memories of London.
