This time it's the People's Choice Awards, and here are their nominees in the music categories:

favorite musical group -- Evanescence, Maroon 5, No Doubt, OutKast, U2;

favorite male singer -- Eminem, Josh Groban, John Mayer, Prince, Usher

favorite female singer -- Sheryl Crow, Norah Jones, Alicia Keys, Avril Lavigne, Sarah McLachlan

at least it's nice to see the People's Choice Awards off their country trip. Remember when they never had any pop, rock or r&b males nominated? it was always Garth, Garth, Garth?

I would like to see Prince win but realistically it's Usher's year, though I truthfully don't understand why.

I would like to see Prince win also...I love Usher (alot :D ) but Prince is just timeless and it's cool to see him getting nominated.

Also, Alicia Keys all the way for female performer.

I'd like to see Maroon 5 win. They've got some good tunes.

I like the music of both Prince and Usher, so seeing either of them win would be cool.

I like the music of Sheryl Crow, Alicia Keys, Avril Lavigne and Sarah McLachlan. I'd like to see Sarah McLachlan win though. McLachlan has been on the music scene since at least the '90s. I alos like her latest tune on the much more music top ten, "World On Fire".
