It was one year ago today, Rod Roddy died.:( He was the announcer on "Soap" before he does game shows like "Batllestars", "Hit Man", "Love Connection", "Press Your Luck" and "The Price Is Right". I was posting it on the game show board that I found two airchecks with Rod Roddy as a disc jockey at Pittsburgh's KQV for a short time in 1960. Here are two clips in memory of Rod Roddy:

Aww. He was as much a part of Soap as the main cast. "Confused? You won't be, after this week's episode of... Soap!"

I loved Rod Roddy - his announcements had me :rofl: each time. Of course, no one could yell "COME ON DOWN!" like he did on The Price is Right. :D
