In the kissing scene between Mabel and Chico, where she dipped him down, I often wonder--how did she manage to hold up his weight and keep from dropping him? :lol:

wondered that myself. But I think Freddie could hold most of his weight and she had him leaning on her knee which helped...I'll have to look at the show again...good question Karen.

so it really couldn't have caught Freddie off guard after all or he maybe would have been dropped.

Just think those girls got paid to kiss him. I bet they all wanted to work over time. I wonder if any of them purposely flubbed up a kissing scene so they had to do it again????

I don't have the capability to take a picture of this from the TV screen (and even if I did, I doubt I could capture something that happened soooo quickly), but remember the first on-screen kiss Freddie had? It was with the actress playing Marilyn--the girl who rejected his marriage proposal because Chico was never going to be rich. If you look veeeerrrry closely, you can see that there was definitely tongue involved LOL! OMG! :eek:

I must need magnifying glasses because i still have yet to see that and believe me i sat close to the screen too:eek:

Yes I did take a picture of that and I have it somewhere in file! I didn't get a close of the twisting tongue action though. That was a memorable moment on Chico and the Man

All those kisses make for wonderful dreams.....

I remember once having a dream where Chico kissed me out of the blue (it was a long time ago tho) I think I musta had that Marilyn kiss in mind, cause I definitely remember feeling that tongue in my dream. I don't have many vivid dreams, but I woke up from that one really feeling the after affects of that kiss....

If only it had happened in real life, huh? All those actresses were very lucky girls, stage kiss or no stage kiss.....

Thanks Joy! I love watching that episode! Getting a real close, I mean eyes practically viewing that liplock of Chico and Marilyn so close and study the movement of that kiss!
