Funny episode, but the writers should have done things different.

Jack shouldn't have been responsible for the building code violation. He's only a tenant. Jack should have gotten Mr. Angelino involved. As the owner, this should have fallen on his shoulders, not Jack's.

Also, the cop should have reasoned, why would Jack hand him a tape with someone saying, "Jack, I'm going to get that pot for you." Wouldn't the cop think it's odd for Jack to turn himself in??

Well, in real life these things would make more sense, but this is a sitcom and sometimes the writers have to bend the truth a little bit to make things funny.

It's nice to see TVLand airing this episode that N@N would not show. Though it was not one of the better eps I still like to see it.

Now if these folks would just get over the problem with Jack's supposed brief exposure of his family jewels and start showing "The Charming Stranger" again. I have only seen it once and it was long ago, way back when TC was on TNN.

I've seen pictures posted on this issue and I really cannot make out the body part in question. Come on TVLand...you are about to enter Season 8 shortly, go ahead and give us "The Charming Stranger" when it comes around in the cycle!!!

Yeah I know!! What is with these people!?!? They need to grow up!!! I have NEVER seen this episode and I really want to. It is the only episode I have never seen. I have seen all the rest at least 100 times each! I too, have seen a picture of this scene, and I come to the conclusion that YOU CAN'T SEE ANYTHING!!!!!!! These people make me soo mad!!! Because of them, the fans of this show are unable to view every episode!! I would like to know who exactly was it that reported this scene to Nick @ Nite. I want to give them the punishment they deserve! What an idiot!!!

bad news, tvland won't be airing the charming stranger. they are skipping over it like everyone else does.

but don't worry, i'm sure the season 8 dvd will have it on there.

I knew it. They are just to IGNORENT to play that episode for us!!!

BTW- I think that John wouldn't have wanted it this way. He was asked in an interview about this scene, and he said that he wanted them to play both the versions, the edited and the unedited, because "Sometimes you feel like a nut, and sometimes you don't".
